కవులు - ఊహాధురీణులు 

మనం రాసేది కొందరే చదువుతారు
మనం పోయాక అందరూ మనలను మరుస్తారు

అందరికీ తెలియరు వ్యాస వాల్మీకులైనా
భాస కాళిదాసులైనా నన్నయ్య పోతనలైనా

రామాయణ మహాభారతాలే చదవడం లేదు
ఇప్పుడెవరూ; మన రచనలెంత? కాని ఎంత
చెట్టుకు అంత గాలి; రాయడము ఒక ప్రవృత్తి
కాదది ఒక వృత్తి; ధన సంపాదన లేని వ్యాసంగం

జన్యువులో పూర్వ జన్మ సుకృతం తపః ఫలములో
కారణం కవితల ఉదయానికి; నేర్చుకొని రాయలేని
కళ; సహజ సిద్ధమైన పాండితీ భావనా ప్రకర్షల వరం
ఏ దేశమేగినా ఎందు కాలిడినా వెలుగుచూ ఉందురు
కవులు; రవి కాంచనిచో కూడా కాంచగల సిద్ధులు
ఊహాధురీణులు, రసికులు, సారస్వత స్రష్టలు వారు

అదృష్టవంతులు

ఎవరు ఎంత గొప్ప వారైనా మరణించక తప్పదు.

సామాన్యుడైనా, అసామాన్యుడైనా కాల వశమున శరీరం వీడక తప్పదు.

చిన్న వింతైన విషయం‌.

ఎవరు చనిపోయినా మనకి ఎంతో నష్టం జరిగింది అంటారు. నిజానికి చనిపోయే సమయానికి ఎంతటి అసామాన్యులైనా శరీర దార్ఢ్యం కోల్పోయి ఏమీ చేయలేని స్థితిలో ఉంటారు. మానసికంగా, శారీరకంగా జీర్ణ స్థితిలో ఉండి ఏ పనీ చేయలేని నిస్సహాయతలో ఉంటారు. ఆ స్థితిలో వారికి తమ అసామాన్యత గురించి స్పృహలో ఉండదు.

ఆ స్థితిలో వారు ఇదివరకిటిలా సృష్టులు, కార్యకలాపాలలో దక్షత చూపించలేరు. మర్యాదకి, గౌరవానికి మనం సంతాప సందేశాలలో, తీర్మానాలలో వారి మరణం లోటు అంటాము.

మరణించేటప్పటికి కొద్ది సంవత్సరాల ముందు నుంచే ఏమీ చేయలేక ముసలితనాన్ని ఈడుస్తూ
ఉంటారు. ఆ స్థితిలో వారు ఉన్నా, మరణించినా తేడా ఉండదు.

అదో మర్యాద కింద యాంత్రికంగా మాట్లాడేస్తాము.

వినా దైన్యేన జీవితమ్

అనాయాసేన మరణమ్

జరిగిన వారు అదృష్టవంతులు.

Brazen Disrespect and wayward behavior

No media says anything about the ridiculous impasse in Karnataka where the coalition partners are unable to finalize cabinet composition. Why they couldn't finalize? What is the reason?

The press reports say there is no understanding on the distribution of portfolios. Is it not brazenly exhibiting the selfishness and ridiculing citizens about their fate?

Some years back in Maharashtra the same impasse continued for two months. These attidudes show the least regard the politicians have for propriety of conduct of representatives - the would be ministers and rulers and citizens.

Once they are elected, they say by their actions that they are not answerable to anyone, even to citizens and that the citizens must bear their selfish and corrupt ways of implementation of democracy and democratic rule.

This brazen behavior of politicians is bane of Indian democracy and its rulers.

సంఘంలో బాధ్యత గల మేధావులు, సినిమా, ఇతర లలితకళలలో ప్రావీణ్యులు తక్కువ. ప్రజలకు ఉపయోగపడే దానికన్నా ప్రజల జంతు తత్త్వాన్ని ఉపయోగించుకొని నాలుగు రాళ్లు సంపాదించుకోవాలి అనుకునేవారే కోకొల్లలు. ఈ విపరీతాల నుంచి తల్లిదండ్రులే తమ సంతానాన్ని రక్షించుకోవాలి. ఇతరులకు వదిలిపెట్టడం తెలివితక్కువ తనం.

Arrogance

A chief minister of a regional party said Governor system is unnecessary and should be dumped with.

Now another chief minister says why to pay central taxes when central government is not releasing funds to states.

How many chief ministers have given funds to zilla parishats, mandal parishats and panchayats?

What is the reply from the chief minister if a Panchayat president or sarpanch says why should the village pay taxes to state when state is not releasing any funds to it?
Similarly presidents of mandal and zilla parishats can give statements.

In India getting elected to be a chief minister is amounting to the chief minister owning the state. Such arrogance is exhibited in the name of democracy and federal structure.

It is high time Indian politicians are given lessons on Indian Constitution and democratic principles and unless one is successful in the examination conducted on the lessons must be barred from contesting any election.

Executive is not all powerful. Judiciary, legislature/parliament and citizens are checks and balances in the democracy.
Every one must behave accordingly. Being a chief minister or any representative does not give absolute license to loot the nation at the respective levels of the politicians.

Because all these realities are unknown to leaders and citizens, a peculiar and ridiculous functioning of democracy is taking place in India.

Manipulating voters is considered as the intelligence of the politicians. But the citizens are deprived of quality representatives and rulers.

Innocence and arrogance are intoxicating Indian politicians and leaders to the extent of questioning everything which is not to their advantage and embracing everything that benefits them in all illegal and corrupt ways.
