The Nirbhaya kind of incident in Bangalore yesterday can be easily blamed on animal and brutal nature of some men.  Same thing happened in Bhopal recently. Unfortunately, many such incidents have been still happening after nirbhaya Delhi episode.

What the women themselves are doing for their safety? Governments will be certainly unable to provide police help or protection to each and every needy woman travelling alone. Moreover the protectors themselves are likely to be such men!

This reality must dawn on everybody, especially girls when they travel alone in the night time and hence must take necessary measures for their protection and wellbeing-- before they become easy and vulnerable targets for animals in the form of such men.

This is a gigantic problem which has certain solutions in addition to some police or security protection, like women taking care of themselves, being concerned about their own welfare. They will have to take necessary precaution for their safety and wellbeing in view of tremendous dangers that may fall upon them while they are outside their home. Self help is the best help at times.

Just blaming men, society or governments will not solve the problem that has its basis on the human nature and its misbehavior which cannot be simply wished away as the same is bound to happen on par with other criminal activities such as murder, robbery, corruption, and cheating. Saints and seers hardly roam during the nights for nothing to happen to the vulnerable members of our society.
