Marriage

Marriage is essentially an economic transaction, whether one is aware of it or not; agreeing or not.
Even live-in-partnerships have reduced to that even though they are neither legal nor traditional.
It is amusing to read about people going to courts to claim economic benefits from the other party when they decide to separate from each other.

And when divorce is fought it is finances and economics that are being dealt with by courts or any other mutually agreed to adjudicator or mediator.

All other descriptions are just fancies. It should be borne in mind before blaming this or that; him or her.

Democratic India

If government's land is occupied by influential people or by vote-bank people it is an uncontested and authorized deed. Real estate is developed by former category and own business is conducted by later category.

The moral is such occupations are never probed, contested and the occupants are allowed to get away with their booty.

This is democratic India.

Builders and bricks

People's behavior is reflected as a nation. There is no nation sans its citizens. Mere geography is not a nation.

One must note when one is criticizing a nation, knowingly or unknowingly one is criticizing it's citizens and their behavior.

So India is criticized means its citizens are criticized. When one finds India is inhabitable it's inhabitants are responsible for such a situation.

Nation is adorable if its citizens are adorable. A nation is admirable if its citizens are admirable.
A nation is backward if its citizens crave to be backward and demand to be considered backward. But who has to bear the burden of so many backwardness claimants?

Citizens have to build a nation by being bricks of the building. But in India there are many "builders" than bricks.

 ఈశ్వరానుభవం

"తమ మనసనే అద్దాన్ని తుడిచిపెట్టుకోగలిగితే చాలు, ఈశ్వరవదనం ప్రతి ఒక్కరిలోనూ ప్రతిఫలిస్తుంది".
ఇది అనుకున్నంత, చెప్పినంత తేలిక కాదు.

వర్ణ, లింగ, మత, భాషా, సంస్కృతీ, నాగరికతలకు అతీతంగా ఎవరికైనా ఈ అనుభవం కలుగవచ్చు.

కలిగించుకోగలిగిన అర్హత మాత్రం అందరికీ ఉండదు.

దీనికి ఆలోకన, అవగాహన, వినయము, జిజ్ఞాస, ముముక్షుత్వము అవసరము.

ఆ పై వ్యక్తిగత కృషి, శ్రద్ధా కూడా అవసరము.

చేయి తిరిగిన రచయితలు


ఒక స్థాయికి వచ్చాక చేయి తిరిగిన రచయితలు ఏది రాస్తే అది ప్రాచుర్యము పొందుతుంది. అప్పుడు వర్ధమాన రచయితలు ఆశ్చర్యపోతూంటారు.

"తమ రచనలు వాసిలో బాగుంటాయి, అయినా ఈ ప్రముఖుల సాదా సీదా రచనలే అచ్చవుతున్నాయి."
అని.

అసలు సాహిత్యం చదివే వాళ్శే తక్కువ. ఆ కొద్దిమందిలో ఎక్కువ మంది ప్రముఖుల రచనల పట్ల మొగ్గు చూపుతారు. ఆ రచనలను వారు పూర్తిగా చదవకపోయినా ఒక అభిప్రాయం కలిగి ఉంటారు. 

వర్ధమాన రచయితలకు పేరు, ప్రాచుర్యము రావడం భగీరథ ప్రయత్నం జరిగినా జరగదు. కీర్తి కాంత ఎవరిని వరిస్తుందో తెలియదు. ఎంత ప్రతిభావ్యుత్పన్నతలున్నా, మంచి పస గల రచనలు చేసినా ప్రఖ్యాతి చెందరు చాలామంది రచయితలు, కవులు.

నిజానికి, రచించగలగడం, కవనములు అల్లడం అందరకూ అబ్బదు. కొందరికే ఆ భాగ్యము పడుతుంది. కాని పేరు, ప్రఖ్యాతులు రావడం దేని మీద ఆధారపడి ఉంటుందో ఏ జ్యోతిష్కుడు, భవిష్యత్ వేత్త చెప్పలేరు.

కీర్తి, ధనము కొందరినే వరిస్తాయి. ఇది ప్రకృతిలోని తమాషా.
