కండువాలు మార్చిన మాత్రమున ప్రజలకేమి ఒరుగును?
నొక్కుకొనుట తప్ప మరేమీ తెలియని, కక్కుర్తి
కఠినాత్ముల హృదయమే రీతిని కరుగును? ఏ
పథకమునైననూ నొల్లుకొనుటకు అవకాశమనుకొను
ప్రతినిధులకు శాసనములు చేయుటన్ళ ఏమి తెలియును?
పరిపాలనన్న మింగుట కాదన్న ఎఱుకేది? ఆ మనుషులే
ఓ కండువా వేయుదురు; గిట్టుబాటు జరుగువరకు
కండువాలు మార్చుచు జనుల ఏమార్చుచునే ఉందురు;

అహంకార మమకార వ్యక్తిత్వ శూన్యతన ఫలించును
పాండిత్యమేమో? తత్త్వశాస్త్ర విశారదతలేమో?
శ్రద్ధ అకుంఠిత దీక్ష పరిశీలన వినయము లేక అందగించవు
ప్రతి గుణమునకొక ప్రాతినిధ్యము
ప్రతి అవగాహనకొక లక్షణము
ప్రతి ప్రాతినిధ్యమునకొక బాధ్యత
మనీషులకివి ఆభరణములు
సామాన్యులకు అహంకార ప్రచోదనములు
గర్వాంధకారమున చూపు పోగొట్టు దుర్లక్షణములు
ఎవరికీ ఉపయోగించని ఉత్తుత్తి ఊపులు
అంతయు పరంధాముని కరుణనుకొన్న శ్రేష్టము శుభము

Drunk Driving and State Governments
It is with heavy and disturbed heart that the news item of state governments are trying to sneak through Apex Court's ruling to curb liquor vending within 500 meters of highways is received. State governments do want liquor money over safety and well-being of citizens and drivers is something not tenable with the welfare of citizens.
Though state governments need liquor money for implementing the "welfare" measures and freebies promised during electioneering, their funds garnered by non-implementation of prohibition should be sufficient for their voter-centric "promises".

These inefficient leaders cannot administer and do not keep aside such
that others can be at the helm of affairs. But they want to rule in a
hereditary fashion perpetuating their family rule and make money by
being in power. No other thing is of interest to them.
They do not know how to rule for the progress and advancement of citizens and nation. Their vision is narrow and limited. Their vain promises and vain talks or boastings about their rule and corruption of opposition leaders may not lead them and state far.
Let the citizens be aware of this reality; transcending their selfish attitude of being pampered by politicians and aspiring for special treatment from governments undermining the development, welfare and well-being of all citizens.

Human life is like a river; in the beginning as a small spring, takes course joined by streams and rivulets, goes through hills, falls, passes between hills in valleys, in plains, when "obstructions (dams)" constructed becomes useful for irrigation and produces power and slowly meanders to merge in the sea at the end of the course. Immigration
White people from England are immigrants to the United States, Australia, New Zealand. Now they own respective countries. New people are now branded immigrants and white people think these new immigrants are threat to them, their jobs and living conditions.
Immigration is an age old practice. It happened in all societies and nations. The point is who owns a nation and who are the immigrants.
Especially in India political leaders are playing politics on immigration and immigrants. Siva Sena, DMK, TRS, and rest of leaders of other provinces feel as if they own their respective territories and amass money and power playing politics against "immigrants" from within the country. Livelihood problems exist everywhere.
They do not know how to rule for the progress and advancement of citizens and nation. Their vision is narrow and limited. Their vain promises and vain talks or boastings about their rule and corruption of opposition leaders may not lead them and state far.

anything except continue fomenting hatred and voters side it, the voters
are the losers. The politicians happily highjack the regional sentiment
of the "natives" and perpetuate their family rule on the hapless
citizens. The citizens bear it without even murmuring. The same is true
in caste and community politics as well as faith politics.
Politics on human immigration and divisions cum affiliations in the same country shows the emotional disintegration among citizens. And it becomes a ridiculous and laughing matter to claim that we are all Indians.
