Sleep is natural to many
But it denies itself to so many

In Praise of Goddess Kanakadurga!
I sight Her through my self
I sing Her with my heart
I know Her with my mind
I repeatedly chant Her in my thoughts.

Into Kanakadurga, the very embodiment of bliss,
Do I sink, submerging my false sense of self and identity.
I meditate upon the goddess hoping to augment her favour
I pray to Mahadevi, Tripura Sundari, Sarada Sivakameswari,
whose gaze makes all calm – She offers unassailable, undivided loyalty.

Goddess Kanadurga is the presiding deity of Vijayawada,
situated on the banks of river Krishna in Andhra Pradesh.

తొలి చినుకు స్పర్శ కు కలిగెను హర్షము
రావే రావే తొందరగా; చల్లదనము తేవే వర్షమా!

ఎండలకు ఎండిన చెరువులు, కట్టివేసిన కాలువలు
గాడుపులకు తట్టుకోలేని మా అందరి పైన
కురియవె తొలకరి జల్లులు
ఆహ్లాద భరితము చేయవే మనసును వాన నేస్తమా!

Theme: The pleasant experience of falling of first rain drops is described.

Natural disasters do not happen be announcing in advance. It is the nature of them to hit suddenly. Human beings cannot o any thing but suffer and experience the disastrous consequences.
Nature only has direction to happen because of changes within unknown to us. It suddenly erupts. Natural has only emotion and not discrimination. It appears to follow its own guidelines, forces and rules not at all aware of or considering others rues and woos.
So also human beings. There are many human beings erupting suddenly to harm the other human beings and society and environment.
They are in the form of terrorists, fundamentalists, criminals, murderers,politicians, offenders to civilized society by their illegal and corrupt actions, self-styled god-men and -women, entertainers and also "intellectuals" of worst kind.
They are equivalent in causing damage and destruction as natural calamities. Ordinary human beings suffer because of natural calamities and natural disorders in human beings.
HUMAN BEINGS ARE LEFT HELPLESS AND RENDERED ACTION-LESS BY THESE WICKED NATURAL HAPPENINGS AND TRAITS.
Religions, culture, civilization are developed so that they can shield humans from the disorders of fellow criminal minded people. But these institutions themselves have become inspirations for destruction and dastardly actions.
Very unfortunate and dangerous situation is existing around us as pollution of atmosphere and environment.
