ఐశ్వర్యవంతులు - శ్రీనాథులు

యాచకో యాచకశ్శత్రుః

ఇది అందిరికీ తెలిసిన, అనుభవవేద్యకమైన మాట.

ఇద్దరు ముష్టి వాళ్ళు ఒకరికొకరు శత్రువు.

ఒకే వృత్తిలో ఉన్నవారు ఒకరి పట్ల ఒకరు సహజంగా మత్సరంతో ఉంటారని తాత్పర్యం. ఈ విషయలో ఎవరికీ భేదాభిప్రాయాలు ఉండవు.

రాజకీయ నాయకులు, వ్యాపారస్థులు, ఇలా వివిధ వృత్తుల్లో ఉన్నవారు పోటీని ఇష్టపడరు. అసూయ, ఈర్ష్య కలవారై చేతకాని వారైతే అయిష్టం ఎక్కువ మోతాదులోనే ఉంటుంది.

సాహితీ సృష్టులు, విమర్శలు చేసేవారిలోనూ ఈ దృష్టి ఉంటుంది. కొండొకచో ఈర్ష్యలు, కొండొకచో నిరసన భావములు, కొండొకచో తక్కువ చూపులు, కొండొకచో అతిశయం, కొండొకచో అయిష్టం, కొండొకచో గర్వం, అహం, దర్పం ఇలా మాత్సర్యములుంటాయి.

చాలా మంది సాహితీ స్రష్టలు తమ సృష్టి నలుగురి దృష్టిలో పడాలని, తోటి కవులను, రచయితలను, విమర్శకులను, సాహితీ వేత్తలను ఆకర్షించాలని, ఆకట్టుకోవాలని కోరుకుంటూ ఉంటారు. లబ్ధ ప్రతిష్టుల మెప్పు పొందడం కోసం పరితపిస్తూ ఉంటారు.

కాని ఆ లబ్ధ ప్రతిష్టులు రకరకాల కారణాల వలన సామాన్య సాహితీ స్రష్టల సృష్టులు పట్టించుకోలేరు.
వారి వారి రచనావ్యాసంగానికి సమయం కేటాయించు కోవాలి; ఈ సామాన్యుల సృష్టి వారి స్థాయికి ఆనక పోవచ్చు. వారి సిద్ధాంతం, వాదప్రియత్వం వేరవచ్చు.

ఈ సామాన్యుల సృష్టి పై ఉదాసీనత కావచ్చు. లేదా ఈ సామాన్యుడు అసామాన్యునిగా కనిపించి, తమ ముద్ర వాడిపై వేస్తే ఆ బలంతో తమను మించి పోతాడన్న అసహనం కావచ్చు.

అయినా సామాన్యులైన సాహితీ కారులు లబ్ధ ప్రతిష్టుడైన సమీక్షించుకుని ముద్రకై వెంపర్లాడటం ఒక బలహీనత. కాకి పిల్ల కాకికి ముద్దు లా మన సృష్టులు మనకు ఎంతో బాగుండచ్చు కానీ అందరినీ అలరించాలని నియమం లేదు.

శంఖం లో పోస్తేనే కాని తీర్థం కానట్టు లబ్ధ ప్రతిష్టుడైన సమీక్షకునిచే ప్రశంసింబడితే తప్ప తమ రచన పండలేదు అనుకోవడం అమాయకత్వం. పసితనం.

ఎందరో సాహితీ కారులు తమ జీవిత కాలంలో లబ్ధ ప్రతిష్టులు కాలేదు. త్యాగరాజస్వామికే ఈ అవస్థ తప్పలేదు. ఆయన తన సృష్టిని రామాంకితం అనుకున్నాడు కనుక దేనినీ లెక్కచేయలేదు. మనంతటి వాళ్ళం మనం.

ఎంతటి గొప్ప సృష్టిని సమకాలీనులు రకరకాల కారణాల వల్ల గుర్తించరు. మెచ్చుకోరు. అన్ని రంగాల్లోనూ ఇంతే. ఎందరో ఈ నాడు మనం లబ్ధ ప్రతిష్టులు అనుకుంటున్నవారు వారి, వారి జీవితకాలంలో అనామకులే. పట్టించుకోబడని వారే. నిరసనలకు గురై, అనేక రకాలుగా తీసిపారవేయబడిన వారే.

మనలాంటి వాళ్ళం భగవదర్పితంగా సాహితీ సృష్టులు చేసేవాళ్ళం కాదు. మన కవితా, రచనా వ్యాసంగం మనకు పేరు ప్రతిష్టలు, ప్రఖ్యాతులు, వీలైతే ధనం తేవాలని కలలు కనే వాళ్ళమే.

ఇతరుల ప్రశంసకై మన సాహితీ సృష్టి చేయబడడం లేదు, ఆత్మతృప్తికై మనం సాహితీ సృష్టులు చేస్తున్నాము అనుకుంటే, లబ్ధ ప్రతిష్టులైన సమీక్షకులు, తోటి కవుల, రచయితల, విమర్శకుల మెప్పు లభించక పోయినా నిరుత్సాహపడకుండా సాహితీ వ్యవసాయం చేస్తూనే ఉంటాము. ఒకరిద్దరు పాఠకుల ప్రశంస లభించినా సంతృప్తులమౌతాము.

ప్రకృతిలో పూచిన పూవులం సామాన్య సాహితీ స్రష్టల మైన మనం. ప్రకృతి సోయగాలన్నీ కూడా బదులు ఏమీ ఆశించని‌ సౌందర్య ప్రదర్శనాలు. మన సృష్టి అడవిని కాచిన వెన్నెల కావచ్చు. భగవంతుని మూర్ధమును అలంకరించే కుసుమం కావచ్చు. వాడి రాలిపోయే పువ్వూ కావచ్చు.

విమర్శలు కోరుకోని, ప్రశంసలకు పొంగని, నిరసనలకు క్రుంగని ప్రకృతీ సదృశం మన మనము, మన సాహితీ సృష్టి మన సంపద. ఐశ్వర్యవంతులం మనం. బిచ్చగాళ్ళం కాదు.

మనం మనకి గొప్ప వాళ్ళమే. ఈ మాత్రం దర్పం లేకపోతే శ్రీనాథునికి వారసులం ఎలా అవుతాము!

మన స్థాయిలో సాహితీ సృష్టులు ఎలా కొనసాగించగలుగుతాము!?

Preachers and We

We have many intellectuals championing this ism or that thought. They talk to us as if they are masters in that thought and we "children", and preach us more boringly than the religious missionaries. These intellectuals and missionaries think that we do not know anything and must be "helped".

When these gentlemen realize that we too are equally capable and can guide our life following wise tradition and do not require this unsolicited and irritating "sermons".

They must mind their own business and try to become spiritual with what little knowledge they acquired through the study and practice of their ism, ideology, religion, political philosophy, religious or ideological cult and the like thoughts and feelings.

Every human being is endowed with Divinity in the form of intuition and Divinity glows in us all.
My salutations and obedience to such blissful, peaceful, silent and serene Being in us as pleasantness.

Medals at Rio Olympics

Many Indians seem to be disappointed and worried that India is not winning any medals at Rio Olympics.

First the spirit of participation is to be given prominence and appreciated. Winning medals is secondary.

And when we expect our athletes and participants to win medals at such a tough international competition, we must compare the participants from among participating countries and their training and infrastructure facilities.

Our food habits are not in tune with international standards. And the genetic factor in body-build up is to be noticed. The athletes from other countries have suiting food habits and body strengths. The genetic factor gives them advantage in having healthy and strong bodies

And our attitude to allow our children to take sports as a career is not encouraging. Added to it our training and infrastructure facilities are so much below par to international standards and are highly inadequate. Still further we have interference of politicians at all levels of sports and competitions.

The recent behaviour of our sports' minister at Rio gives a taste of attitude of our government and people's representatives. 

Under these realities it is wise to appreciate and applaud the participation spirit of our athletes and players despite the insufficient and inefficient support given by sports bodies and representatives from governments and people.

I am happy our competitors are high in spirits under these circumstances. My salutations to their grit and spirit.

Let Indian sports persons get our encouragement and support for their participation. Let us not feel tension and be sad that Indian athletes are not winning any medals at Rio.

Being and Becoming of mind

External physical world, its internal mental impressions, internal phenomenal world, memory, ideas, understanding, experience, ego, thoughts, feelings, actions, interactions and reactions in and of body are cognitive objects of mind. Mind and its functions are cognitive objects of consciousness. If no mind and or its functions are, then consciousness is called pure consciousness. It is also called Being\Bliss\Peace\Silence. Existing mind and its functions are called Becoming. Being and Becoming are resting and functioning mind respectively.

A Brief History time, the book by Stephen Hawking discussed time from physics point of view only. View of other disciplines are completely missing. Thus that book is not a comprehensive treatment of nature and structure of time.

Investing in human bonds

The jobs we do will take care of our financial and economical needs and desires. They cannot take care of our intellectual and emotional needs. Only proper, harmonious, near and dear bonds with our near and dear can take care of our intellectual, aesthetic and emotional needs. Our interest in fine-arts, scientific thought, spirituality will help us to evolve into a cultured human being. 

Neglecting or maintaining disharmony in our relationships will have disturbing affect on our mind, heart and makes life unlivable and unlovable. It is in our hands to keep harmony in our thought, word and deed which endears us to our near and dear. 

Harmonious human bonds are equally necessary as our financial earnings to have a fulfilling and serene life. We will neglect our near and dear and bonds with them at our peril.

Investing in human bonds is equally important and must as our financial investments for secured life in all aspects.
