తప్పుగా వ్యాఖ్యానించబడిన వైనము కనవలెను;
జ్ఞానము కలుగు క్షణములలో‌ పరమాత్మను కలిసిన
మనసు అనుభవించును మోక్షస్థితి: వ్యక్తి మరణస్థితి;

ఈ అలౌకికానందము మరుక్షణం కనుమరుగై అహంభావ
విజృంభణమే పునర్జన్మ; ఇవే గిట్టుట మరల పుట్టుటలు
వాసనా ప్రకోపమున అజ్ఞానము ఆక్రమించి పడవేయును
మనల మరల సంసారమున; చరాచర ప్రపంచమున

జీవించియుండగ ఈ రాకపోకలనాపి తనలో లీనము
చేసికొనును కరుణను దైవము; అప్పుడు అహంకార
మమకారములు వాడిన పూలై రాలిపోవును; మనసు
ఫుల్ల కుసుమమై వాలిపోవును భగవత్పాదములపై

ఆ ఈక్షణ వీక్షణలు శాంతానందమయములై పున్నమి
వెన్నెలలై నిర్మలానందభరితములగును; మన ఉనికి
సాక్షి మాత్రమై ప్రజ్ఞానమై బ్రహ్మమై పరబ్రహ్మమై రామ
బ్రహ్మమై ఆత్మారామమై జన్మపరంపర దాటెదము

ఆత్మీయత ఆత్మ ల మయమై మనము ఆడంబరములు
లౌకిక వాంఛలకు దూరమై పరమాత్మను కలిసిన మనసు
మౌనమై ప్రశాంతతననుభవించుచుండగా వేసవి ఎండల
తాపము మఱ్ఱి చెట్టు నీడన మాయమైనట్టు అన్ని క్లేశములు
సుఖదుఃఖములు వేదనలు వ్యథలు అదృశ్యమై

Drug Abuse of Celebrities

Which will take over the inquiry in relation to Hyderabad and Tollywood drugs case is any body's guess. The way the secrecy is maintained, it shall meander the path of celebrity legal cases and things may not much be known after a few days.

Drugs abuse, midnight pub- drinking and dancing life, drunk driving afterwards, promiscuous sex-relations are the gifts being given by the celebrities to the society and it is born-prerogative of the neo-rich and their affairs and doings will remain secret from the us; the public; the most innocent, ignorant and naive fans, so that the dignity and honor of the celebrities remains intact.

The way attempts are being made to save the honor and reputation of the criminals-celebrities is one of the banes of Indian social living.

Society and law-enforcing authorities and media do not have any concern for the honor, reputation and dignity of ordinary citizens. Their names and crimes are celebrated by media for sensation purpose. This is really disgusting. Ordinary citizens too have honor, reputation and dignity. Why the same courtesy is not shown to ordinary citizens?

After all every one is vulnerable and commits crime. Let the enforcing authorities and media report only the news of the convicted. Trial news will damage the honor, dignity and reputation of ordinary citizens as those of the celebrities. Why the media and authorities are partial and show favors to the neo-rich and celebrities?
We know.

Role of Life

Life is more a teacher than a beloved. Life instructs more than comforts and makes sober than joyous. We have to consciously cultivate manners to learn from life and be joyous, serene and transcendent and perform our duties efficiently and find satisfaction and fulfillment in taking care and being cared.
Everything else comes next.

The Unattended 


Many of us share success stories on the social networking sites. We glorify them with many superlatives. We pour all our admiration and adoration on such individuals' success and share it with all our might.

But I am always reminded of the unsuccessful individuals who are not able to get detected by our radars. Many scholars, philosophers, especially like Sri Jiddu Krishnamurty, always talk about the stark realities of life and say encouraging words. Such culture and philosophical support is lacking in the society now. Every one is encouraged to take part in the rat race and who cannot or unable to join is made to feel wretched and lost. 

There is no psychological support to the failed individuals. No one talks about the unfortunate lot. But this unfortunate lot form abound 80 to 90 per cent of our society. There is no succor to these other wise meritorious people, who can revive themselves with some external psychological support.
Now a days 90 percent of the engineering graduates and many other degree and certificate holders are a confused, distressed and unsuccessful lot with full unemployment.

Ancient Indian and other literary, spiritual, philosophical, psychological compositions, epics, Panchatantra and Jataka tales and other texts have a lot of consolation and advisory ideas, insight, thoughts,stories and incidents which will rejuvenate and and enliven the spirit and show light at the end of the tunnel. But many individuals do not even know that such useful information is available in them.

Many pseudo intellectuals, scholars and philosophers; economists, financial experts are roaming wildly and are able to influence everyone extolling them to earn money through business. If every one does only business, how about other ways of living and occupations which will be attractive and absorbing to many?

The brain storming of the individuals with careless and irresponsible  Occidental thoughts, ideas and images and dis-allowance by these gentlemen of school children and other youngsters and adults to go through the ancient Indian expressions is deteriorating the situation further. This is a greatest crime by these intellectuals against the nation, society and fellow humans.

No school is effectively inculcating human traits and relations and bonds and aesthetic learning. Introducing and making kids interact with gadgets more and less with fellow kith and kin and other near and dear is further pathetic.  Only money earning ways and culture are inculcated. Parents are also not averse to this insufficiency.

But there is no choice.

Every one has to do business, be a financial expert, an economist or a tax expert or auditor or accountant. Other professions are looked down or they are not making one earn enough in these days when education, health care and spiritual counseling too have become very ugly businesses.
Individuals must be informed about the information available in various Indian texts which motivate even miserably failed individuals during the course of their lives and living.

Wish such counseling is also provided to the "unsuccessful" individuals through education process and after too. Motivating every one only to do business has something cynical and unpleasant in spirit.

Let the society also take care and pat the unsuccessful lot and be together with the not so successful individuals too.

Our Mind

Our mind has phases as the moon. It waxes and wanes as the moon. Our blissful state of mind is full moon. Our blank state of mind is new moon. In between we experience happiness or unhappiness, joys or sorrows depending on our identify and relation with ourselves, persons, things and happenings.

ఉపోద్ఘాతము

మాయ పదము అద్వైత సిద్ధాంతానికి ప్రాణం. విశిష్టాద్వైతులు, ద్వైతులు అద్వైతాన్ని ఈ నాటికీ గాఢంగా విమర్శించడానికి కారణమైనదీ ఈ మాయ యే.

సాధారణ జనులకు జటిలమైనదీ మాయ; మాయయే.

చిత్రము అనే పదానికి తెలుగు భాషలో నానార్థములు ఉన్నాయి.

ఒకటి ఆశ్చర్యకరమైనది అని, బొమ్మ అని; చిత్రీకరణ నేపథ్యంలో picturization అని ఇలా;

ఈ అన్ని అర్థాలలోను మాయని మనం అవగాహనకు ఉపయోగించుకోవచ్చు. అద్వైత వేదాంతము కొంత వరకు బోధ పడుతుంది.

మాయ పదం, దాని తీరు, స్వరూపస్వభావాలు అపార్థం చేసుకోబడినంతగా భారతీయ వేదాంతంలో మరే పదము అపార్థం చేసుకోబడలేదు. మాయ పదం వినగానే మన మనసు తడబడడం ప్రారంభిస్తుంది. ఏదో అయోమయంలోకి నెట్టబడుతుంది. అవగాహన విషయంలో చేతులే ఎత్తేస్తుంది. మాయ పదం లోనే సగం ఇంద్రజాలం ఉన్నట్టు హడావుడి పెడతాం మనం.

మాయ పదం ఉపనిషత్తులలో వాడబడలేదు. ఇది అద్వైత వేదాంత ప్రవక్త గౌడపాదుల వారి ఉపజ్ఞ. శంకరులు, తరువాతి వారు ఈ పదానికి ప్రాచుర్యం, పరమార్థము కలిగించారు.

అదే బ్రహ్మ జ్ఞానాన్ని ఉపయోగించుకొని ఎదిగిన శబ్ద బ్రహ్మ సిద్ధాంతం, ఉపనిషత్తుల చిదాభాసా పదానికి స్ఫోట నామకరణం చేసి బతికిపోయారు. ఉపనిషత్తులే చిదాభాసను ప్రణవం అనీ అన్నాయి.

అలా మాయ, చిదాభాస, ప్రణవం, స్ఫోట ఒకే మానసిక శక్తికి నామాంతరములు.

నిర్వచనములు

మాయ పదం వినగానే మాయమైపోవడం, అదృశ్యమైపోవడం, అంతర్హితమైపోవడం మన స్మృతి పథంలో మెదులుతాయి. ఇవన్నీ మాయ స్వరూపాన్ని కొంత వరకు సూచిస్తాయి.

మన మనసు మాయయై మాయమైపోవడానికే ఆధ్యాత్మిక కృషి అంతా. సాధనలన్నీ.

"మాయా మయం ఇదమ్ జగత్"

అనేది మనకు పరిచయమైన సుప్రసిద్ధ అద్వైత వేదాంత వాక్యము.

నేను నా వ్యాసములన్నటిలోనూ ఆత్మ, బ్రహ్మము, ఇదమ్, జగత్, ప్రపంచం, అంతఃకరణములు, జ్ఞాన, కర్మేంద్రియములు, గుణములు, మొదలగు సాంకేతిక పదములను వివరిస్తూంటాను.

ఊపిరి తీసి, వదలడం వలన చిత్ శక్తి ఉద్భవిస్తుంది. దీనినే ఆత్మ శక్తి అనీ అంటారు. ఈ చిత్ శక్తి మేధలో ప్రతి ఫలనం చెంది చిదాభాస గా మారుతుంది. ఈ చిదాభాసనే అద్వైతం మాయ అంది. దీనినే విశిష్టాద్వైతులు శ్రీ అంటారు. విష్ణ్వనుయాయులు విష్ణు శక్తి అంటారు.

అహం బ్రహ్మాస్మి లోని బ్రహ్మము, తత్ త్వం అసి. (తత్త్వమసి) లోని తత్ ఒకటే. ఈ తత్ నే ఆత్మ అనీ, బ్రహ్మము అని, సత్ అనీ అంటారు.

యస్య గమనం సతతం తదాత్మా

ఆత్మ, బ్రహ్మము ఒకటే. అయమ్ ఆత్మా బ్రహ్మా.

ఈ బ్రహ్మమే ప్రజ్ఞానమ్ బ్రహ్మా లోని బ్రహ్మము.

(సంస్కృత భాషలో "బ్రహ్మా" నపుంసక లింగ ఏక వచన ప్రథమా విభక్తి పదము. బ్రహ్మము తెలుగు భాషలో నపుంసక ప్రథమా ఏక వచన పదము - డు, ము, వు, లు)

సంస్కృత భాషలో "బ్రహ్మ" పదము చతుర్ముఖ బ్రహ్మగారిని తెలియజేస్తుంది.
సంస్కృత భాషలో "ఆత్మా, బ్రహ్మా" వస్తువులను సూచించే పదములు. "వస్తు" శబ్దము సంస్కృత భాషలో నపుంసక లింగ పదము. బ్రహ్మము వస్తువు.
నామరూపవాసనా రహిత "వస్తూ" (వస్తువు) బ్రహ్మము.

అలా చిత్ శక్తి ప్రతి ఫలనమైన చిదాభాసయే మాయ.

ఏది లేదో అది మాయ అనీ
యయా అసన్తమ్ పశ్యతి సా మాయా
దేని ద్వారా సత్ కాని దానిని - అసత్ ను తెలుసుకుంటుందో అది మాయ అనీ
మాయకు రెండు నిర్వచనాలు. ఈ రెండు నిర్వచనముల ఆకళింపు;
అహం, ఇదమ్, జగత్ ల గురించి తరువాతి భాగంలో తెలుసుకుందాం.
దేశము అంటే ప్రదేశము. చోటు. ఖాళీ. ఖగము.
కాలము రూపాంతరం చెందే శక్తి పరిణామము. సమయము కదలని శక్తి స్థితి. ఒక నిమిషంలో శక్తి పరిణమిస్తే లేదా శక్తి సహాయంతో పదార్థము స్థితి గాని అవస్థ గాని మారితే ఆ నిమిషము కాలము అవుతుంది. ఈ పరిణామాలనే కాల గమనం లేదా కాల ప్రవాహం అంటారు. కాల గమన జ్ఞానాన్ని కాల స్పృహ అంటారు. కాల స్పృహ కొన్ని మానసిక దశలలో మాత్రమే ఉంటుంది.
లేకపోతే ఇలా జరగకపోతే వ్యపధియై సమయంగా మిగిలిపోతుంది.
ఉండేవి ప్రదేశము, పదార్థము, శక్తి. కాలము ప్రదేశములో
పదార్ధము కాని శక్తి గాని పరిణమిస్తే కాలము నిర్మించ బడుతుంది. విశ్వాన్ని ఆవరీంచుకున్న, నడిపే కాలము అంటూ ఏమీ లేదు. కాల గణన మానవాళి సృష్టి.
కాలము శక్తి యొక్క పరిమాణం. కాలము అని విడిగా, వేరుగా లేదు. నామ, రూపములతో పాటు వాసనలు, రుచులు, స్పర్శలు కూడా ప్రపంచం లో భాగమే. మాయా (మానసిక శక్తీ ) పరిణామములైన అంతఃకరణములు పాలు పంచుకోక ప్రపంచం నిర్మించబడదు. జగత్ దృష్టిలోకి రాదు.

నన్ను దిద్దిన నా గురువులు ; "రసో వై సః"; సలహాదారులు - సలహా కేంద్రాలు

నన్ను దిద్దిన నా గురువులు

తల్లి మనకు మొదటి గురువు. తండ్రి మన మలి గురువు. అప్పుడు మనకు ప్రాథమిక ఉన్నత పాఠశాలలోను, కళాశాలలలోను, విశ్వవిద్యాలయములలోను గురువులు మనకు పాఠములు చెప్పి మనకు గురువులు అవుతారు. ఇందులో కొందరు మనపై గాఢ ముద్ర వేసి మన జీవితాన్ని సుసంపన్నం చేస్తారు. నన్ను జ్ఞానవంతుణ్ణి చేసి నన్ను మలచిన అటువంటి ముగ్గురు గురువుల గురించి ఇప్పుడు పరిచయము చేస్తాను.

మొదటి గురువు మా నాన్న గారు శ్రీ వారణాసి వెంకట నరసింహ మూర్తి గారు. ఆయన నాకు తండ్రిగా ఈ శరీరాన్ని ఇవ్వడమే కాక గురువుగా నా ఆంగ్ల భాషా పాండిత్యాన్ని, జీవితముపై అవగాహనను కలిగించారు. నాకు పథ నిర్దేశకులు కాక పోయినా నన్ను ఆంగ్ల భాషలోనూ, ఇంగితజ్ఞానంములోను సుసంపన్నము చేశారు. నాకు ఇంట్లోనే ఆంగ్ల భాష మా నాన్నగారి ద్వారా నేర్పబడింది. ఆంగ్లభాష వ్యాకరణము నాకు కరతలామలకం కావడానికి మా నాన్నగారి పాత్ర ఎంతో ఉంది. మా నాన్న గారు నేను ఉన్నత పాఠశాలలోనికి వచ్చేసరికి, ఉన్నత పాఠశాల ప్రధానోపాధ్యాయులుగా ఉన్నారు.

ఆంగ్ల భాషలో బలహీనులైన విద్యార్థులకు మా ఇంటి దగ్గర ప్రత్యేకముగా పాఠాలు చెప్పేవారు. నేను ఆరవ క్లాసు నుంచీ అటు వఛ్చి, ఇటు వఛ్చి ఆంగ్లభాష వ్యాకరణము వింటూ ఉండేవాణ్ణి. అలా నేను 11వ క్లాసుకి S.S.L.C కి వచ్చ్చేసరికి ఆంగ్ల వ్యాకరణము కంఠతా వచ్చేసింది. S.S.L.C లోనూ మా నాన్న గారే మాకు ఇంగ్లీష్ మాస్టారు. అందువల్ల నాకు ఈ వ్యాకరణ జ్ఞానము ముందు ముందు ఎంతో ఉపయోగించింది. నన్ను ఆంగ్ల భాషలో ఒక రచయితగా, కవిగా చేయడంలో ఆ వ్యాకరణ జ్ఞానము ఎంతో దోహదం చేసింది. నేను తరవాత నేర్చుకున్న జర్మన్, ఫ్రెంచ్, సంస్కృతం భాషలలో వ్యాకరణము ఎలా పట్టుకోవాలో నేర్పింది. అలాగే నేను తరవాత చదివిన ఫిజిక్స్ లో విషయగ్రహణకు, అర్థం చేసు కోవడానికి ఈ ఆంగ్ల భాషా ప్రావీణ్యత ఎంతో ఉపయోగపడింది.

తరువాత నన్ను అంతగా ప్రభావితం చేసినది శ్రీ శివశర్మ గారు. ఆయన మాకు ఎం. ఎస్సీ. లో గురువులు. ఆయన ఫిజిక్స్ పాఠం చెప్పే విధము నాకు ఆ శాస్త్రములో ఆసక్తి, అవగాహన కలిగించాయి. నన్ను నన్నుగా చేశాయి. తరువాత నేను రిసెర్చ్ చేసేటప్పుడు ఈ అవగాహన ఎంతో ఉపయోగపడింది.

నా రీసెర్చ్ గైడ్ డా. ఏ. ఎస్. కొలాస్కర్ నన్ను మలిచిన గురువులు. ఆయన నిర్దేశనలో పరిశోధన ఎలా చేయాలో, పరిశోధనా పత్రములు ఎలా తయారు చేయాలో, కాన్ఫరెన్సులలో ఎలా పరిశోధనను వివరించాలో నేర్చుకున్నాను.

ఈ ముగ్గురు గురువులు నన్ను తయారు చేశారు. ఈ ముగ్గురికి నేను ఎల్లప్పుడూ కృతజ్ఞతతో ఉంటాను.

మనము జ్ఞానేంద్రియముల ద్వారా గ్రహించే విషయాలు ( కన్ను- దృశ్యములు, రూపములు; చెవులు - ధ్వనులు, మాటలు; ముక్కు- వాసనలు; నాలిక- రుచులు; చర్మము- స్పర్శలు, వేడిమి, చల్లదనములు) మనలో అనుభవములను కలిగిస్తాయి. ఇవి మనలో అలా రస స్థితిని కలిగిస్తాయి. నవ రసములు మనకి ఎఱుకే. అందులోని శాంత రస స్థతి భగవత్ స్థతి. శాంత చిత్తులమైన మనమే పరమాత్మలము. 

శాంత రస స్థితినే ఆనందస్థితి; మౌనస్థితి అంటారు.

వాక్యార్థములు కలిగించే తాత్పర్య స్థితియూ ఇదియే. ఇదే తత్పర (తత్+పర) స్థతి కూడ.

వాక్యములు విభక్తి స్థితిలో ఉంటాయి. అవి అర్థ స్థితిలో అవగాహనలై. తాత్పర్య స్థితిలో భక్తి గా మారతాయు.

మనము ధ్యానములు చేస్తున్నప్పుడు విభక్తి (వి+భక్తి) స్థితి నుంచి భక్తి స్థితి వైపు పయనిస్తాము. అలా ధ్యాన గమ్య స్థితిలో, గమ్యము చేరుకున్నాక సః - అతను - అవుతాము.

తత్పర, తాత్పర్య, భక్తి, శాంత, ఆనంద, మౌన స్థితులు ఒకటే. ఒకే శుధ్ధ జ్ఞాన స్థితికి పర్యాయపదములు. ఇదే భగవత్ స్థితి. ఇదే పరమాత్మ స్థితీ కూడ. నిర్మల మానసిక స్థితీ ఇదే.

అలా " రస భరితమ్ తత్ పరమ్ (తత్పరమ్) మనమ్ ఏవ ఆత్మా".

" శాంతి భరితమ్ ప్రశాంతమ్ మనమ్ ఏవ ఆత్మా".

విక్షేపించిన ఆత్మ శక్తియే మనసు.

When put in English, the same thing becomes: Energy from the Self (आत्मा- ఆత్మ) gets scattered and becomes cognitions And Communications. Thus resting or absorbed mind is the Self.
Peace-filled resting mind is the Self.

Bliss-filled joyous mind Is The Self. Silent pleasant experience is the Self. Also mental solitude is Silence - the Self.

Unoccupied (by moods, experienced, senses, meanings, thoughts, feelings, cognitions, communications) Silent Mind is The Self.

And experienced meaning and / or meaningful experience rasa (రస-रस-); bhakti (భక్తి- भक्ति -) state; the state of the Self (ఆత్మ - आत्मा- ).

సలహాదారులు - సలహా కేంద్రాలు

మన బంగారం మంచిదైతే కంసాలి ఆకర్షణీయంగా అందంగా ఆభరణాలు తయారు చేసిస్తాడు.
మన బంగారమే గిల్ట్ ది అయితే నగలు బాగులేవని కంసాలిని నిందించి ఏమి ప్రయోజనం?

ప్రశాంత్ కిషోర్ పార్టీలో, నాయకుల్లో పస ఉంటే గెలిచే ఉపాయాలు చెప్పగలడు.

బీహార్లో మహా ఘట్ బంధన్ ని నెగ్గించాడు కదా అని ఉత్తర ప్రదేశ్ లో కాంగ్రెస్ అతనిని సలహాదారుగా పెట్టుకుంది. ఫలితాలు ఎలా వచ్చాయో అందరికీ తెలిసినదే.

ఇప్పుడు ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ లో ఒక గొప్ప పార్టీ మళ్లీ అతన్ని సలహాదారుగా పెట్టుకుంది. ఏమౌతుందో చూద్దాం.

ఉద్యోగార్ధులు అంతే, విద్యార్థులు అంతే. స్వంతంగా కృషి చేసే అలవాటు భారతావనిని విడిచిపోయింది. తమ అర్హతలు చూసుకోకుండా, శక్తి యుక్తులను బేరీజు వేసుకోకుండా ఉట్టికెగరలేనమ్మ స్వర్గానికి ఎగిరిందన్న చందంగా‌ నేల విడిచి సాము చేయడం ప్రతి ప్రయత్నంలోనూ అంతర్లీనంగా కలిసిపోయింది.

సలహాదారులు చేయగలిగింది చాలా తక్కువ; సలహాదారులు బంగారానికి వన్నె పెట్టగలరు కాని ఇత్తడిని పుత్తడి చేయలేరు. ఈ విషయం తెలిసిన వారు ఈ రోజుల్లో అరుదైపోయారు. అందుకే అయిన దానికి, కాని దానికి, అయ్యేదానికి, కాని దానికి అన్ని విచక్షణ లేకుండా ప్రయత్నిచడాలు, సలహా కేంద్రాలు, సలహాదారులు కోకొల్లలుగా అవతరించారు.

భారతదేశ ప్రజలు స్వ శక్తి పై ఆధారపడి, స్వశక్తితో ఎప్పుడు ప్రయత్నాలు చేస్తారో!

Sermonizing

We are living less and are sermonizing more. We are lecturing more and following less. Tradition is more talked about and less implemented, and not made part of our life.

We more want others to follow tradition and change for good than we ourselves. This sort of concern or expectations helps none.

Every field of human activity has become more casual and less sincere.

No one means what one says; one does not follow what one preaches.

Criminals, the corrupt, the fanatics, the terrorists, the money-making bees are so dedicated and intent on their work that they are succeeding and are proliferating though sans conscience because of their one-pointed aim.

Concessional India

In India all citizens are equal.

But men have one income tax slab and women another. Men and women are not equal in India.

Women have reservations for political positions. Why? When they are equal with men why they be specially treated? And given concessions and reservations.

All Indian citizens are equal. But certain sections are pampered with so many concessions and reservations, why?

Are all Indian citizens not equal? Are some sections and genders more equal?

Now demands are made for reservations in the selection of Indian cricket team.
 
One slogan is all Indian citizens are equal.

Another slogan is, of them some sections and genders are more equal in the garb that they are less equal.

How all equal citizens are deferentially, differently, discriminatingly treated?

Because they are vote banks. Indian presidential candidate selection even is tainted with this.

India is a nation of concessions and special treatments; even though Constitution wished for an India of equal opportunities gradually and progressively.

India is converted into a weird country in the name of  inequality.

Whatever political party forms government, these concessions and pampering goes on forever. There is no escape for BJP or Congress or any regional party.

To that extent Indian democracy is destroyed.!!!!!!!!?????

Education in India

Education has lost its meaning, significance, style, grace, dignity, definition. Many are enamored by tags and names.

The three "r" s, the foundation of education are neglected and many useless and unnecessary attractions are added. And the parents are buying them.

The three "r' s can be simply and with very less expenditure learnt and basis for education is provided. But none wants such cheapness.

The school our kids go to has also become our status symbol. As long as the true meaning, significance, spirit and value are recognized, money spending only will be equated with "providing" education.

Parents' arrogance, ignorance, innocence, helplessness and also greed are responsible for this corporate education business of thousands of crores of rupees at the primary, secondary, tertiary and professional courses level.

A vain hope that this "education" and a certificate that it gives at the end of the course will bring a job too is responsible for all this drama. No one wants learning, study, knowledge, which are essential ingredients of education. Job-provision is not part of education.

No one even is aware of this. Sad state of affairs and very deep ignorance and too much greed are ruining the education and governments are encouraging the private educational institutions and most of these money-spinning institutes are run by trusts headed by politicians, their kith and kin and even criminal-minded people are running schools for the money one can make.

పీఠిక:

ఉపనిషత్తులు భారతీయ తత్త్వశాస్త్రము యొక్క తల్లి వేరులు. “ఇంతింతై వటుడింతై చందముగ ఎదిగిన త్రివిక్రమ స్థితి భారతీయ తత్త్వశాస్త్రమునకు కలగడానికి ఆధారము, కారణము ఉపనిషత్తులు. వేదములలోని జ్ఞానశాఖకు చెందినవి ఉపనిషత్తులు.

మనకు ఇంత వరకు ఉపనిషత్తుల భాష్యము ముఖ్యముగా అద్వైత పరము గాను, విశిష్టాద్వైత పరముగాను, ద్వైత పరముగాను, శాక్తాద్వైత పరముగానూ లభిస్తువ్నాయి. చాలామంది ఆచార్యులు మనకు దైవపరముగా వ్యాఖ్యానములను అందించారు. ఈ పై తత్త్వ గ్రంథములనన్నిటినీ జ్ఞానబోధ మీమాంసా పరముగాను వ్యాఖ్యానించవచ్చు. ఇది ఉపనిషత్తుల అసలు దృష్టి. జ్ఞానబోధ మీమాంస ఆంగ్ల అనువాదము cognitive science.

ఈ దృష్టిని ఆస్తికులు అభినందించలేకపోవచ్చు. సత్యము, జ్ఞానము మన ఇష్టాయిష్టములకు అతీతము.

"సత్యమ్ జ్ఞానమ్ అనంతమ్ బ్రహ్మా".

మనకు "ఏకమ్ సత్ విప్రాః బహుధా వదంతి" అని తెలిసిన విషయమే కదా.

వేదములలోని జ్ఞానశాఖకు చెందిన ఉపనిషత్తులు “సత్” ప్రతిపాదికములు.

“సత్” పదము ‘అస్’ ధాతువునకు నపుంసక లింగ ఏక వచన ‘శత్రు’ రూపము (present continuous form). ‘అస్’ ధాతువు యొక్క ఈ రూపము వర్తమానములో, ఉంటూ ఉన్నదాన్ని సూచిస్తుంది. అలా “సత్” పదము వర్తమానములో సదా ఉండే వస్తువు ఉనికిని తెలియజేస్తుంది. ‘అస్’ ధాతువు, ఆంగ్ల భాషలోని “to be” అని infinite form కల క్రియ యొక్క present continuous form –Being.

అలా “సత్” పదము వస్తువు వర్తమానపు సదా ఉనికిని తెలియజేస్తుంది. ఏ వస్తువు? ఆ వస్తువుని సంస్కృత భాషలో ‘బ్రహ్మా’ అనీ, ‘ఆత్మా’ అనీ సూచిస్తారు. తెలుగు భాషలో వాటిని ‘బ్రహ్మము’, ‘ఆత్మ’ అంటారు. ఆ విధముగా ‘సత్’ అనగా అస్తమానూ ఉంటూండేది అని తాత్పర్యము. భూత, భవిష్యత్, వర్తమానములలో, వాటికి అతీతంగా కూడా ఉండేది అని సారాంశము.

శాంతి మంత్రము

ఓం పూర్ణమద: పూర్ణమిదమ్ పూర్ణాత్ పూర్ణముదచ్యతే |
పూర్ణస్య పూర్ణమాదాయ పూర్ణమేవావశిష్యతే ||
|| ఓం శాంతి శ్శాంతి శ్శాంతి: || .

పూర్ణత్వము సమృద్ధిని, నిరపేక్షతను, తెలియజేస్తుంది. స్వయం సమృద్ధ: పూర్ణ:.

‘ఆత్మా సత్’, ‘బ్రహ్మా సత్’ అని వ్వవహరిస్తారు. ఇందాకా చెప్పినట్టు ‘సత్’ అనగా ఉనికిని సదా కలిగి ఉన్నది అని సారము.

అలా అద: అంటే బ్రహ్మము లేక ఆత్మ.

ఇదమ్ అంటే జగత్. ఇది Becoming. ముందు చెప్పినట్టు ఆత్మ Being. మానసిక కార్యకలాపములు మొదలవడం, జరగడం, విరమింపబడడం లను ఇదమ్ సూచిస్తుంది. అలా జగత్ అంటే మనసు, ఇతర అంత:కరణములు పనిచేయు మానసిక సమయము; మానసిక దశ. ఉపనిషత్తులు ఆత్మను, బ్రహ్మమును అనుభవపూర్వకముగా ప్రతిపాదించాయి. ఉపనిషత్తులలో ఆత్మజ్ఞానము / బ్రహ్మజ్ఞానము ఉంది. నూట ఎనిమిది పైన ఉపనిషత్తులు మనకి లభిస్తువ్నాయి. వీటిలో పదకొండు ఉపనిషత్తులను ముఖ్యమైనవిగా పేర్కొని‌ ఆది శంకరాచార్యులు అద్వైత పరంగా వ్యాఖ్యానించారు. ఈశావాస్యోపనిషత్ వాటిలో ఒకటి.

ఉపనిషత్తులు, ఆత్మను గురించి‌ మాట్లాడినపుడు చైతన్యమనీ (శక్తి పరముగా), బ్రహ్మమును గురించి మాట్లాడినప్పుడు వస్తువని, పదార్థమనీ అన్నాయి. వాసనా-భావ-నామ-రూప రహిత వస్తువును పదార్థము అన్నాయి. అలా ఆత్మశక్తి లేక ఆత్మచైతన్యము ‌అనీ, బ్రహ్మపదార్థము అనీ మాటలు వాడుకలోకి వచ్చాయి.
అయమ్ ఆత్మా బ్రహ్మా - అనే ఉపనిషత్ మహావాక్యము‌, ఆత్మ, బ్రహ్మము ఒకటే అని తెలిపింది.

అహమ్ బ్రహ్మాస్మి, ప్రజ్ఞానమ్ బ్రహ్మా, తత్ త్వమ్ అసి, రసోవై సః, ఆనందో బ్రహ్మా, సర్వమ్ ఖలు ఇదమ్ బ్రహ్మా- అనేవి ఇతర ప్రసిద్ధ‌ ఉపనిత్ మహావాక్యములు.

వీటన్నిటినీ శ్రద్ధతో అవగాహన చేసికోవాలి. ఇందుకు మనకు ఉపనిషత్ స్రష్టల నుంచి ఆధునికులైన రమణ మహర్షి ప్రభృతుల వరకు అందించిన అవగాహనలు ఎంతో ఉపయోగిస్తాయి. ఈ భాష్యము అందరు ఆచార్యులను, వారి అనుగ్రహభాషణములను సమానమైన గౌరవముతో అవగాహన చేసికుంటుంది. ఉపయోగించుకుంటుంది.
ఉపనిషత్ పరిభాషలో అద:, అహమ్, ఇదమ్ ప్రత్యేకమైన గ్రహింపునిస్తాయి.

అహమ్ అన్నా, అద: అన్నా, ఆత్మా అన్నా, బ్రహ్మా అన్నా ఒకే వస్తు చైతన్యము సూచించబడుతుంది. విజ్ఞానశాస్త్రములలో సాంకేతిక పదములుండి, వాటికి ప్రత్యేకమైన అర్థములుంటాయి. అలానే ఉపనిషత్తులలో, తత్త్వశాస్త్ర గ్రంథములలో ఎన్నో సాంకేతిక పదములుంటాయి. వాటి ప్రాచుర్యార్థము వేరు, సాంకేతికతార్థము వేరు.
పై ఉపనిషత్ శాంతి పాఠ శ్లోకములో సూచించబడిన అద: పూర్ణమైనది. ఇదమ్ పదము మానసిక కార్యక్రమముల నిర్వహణను, వాటి స్వరూప, స్వభావములను సూచిస్తుంది. పైన చెప్పినట్టు ఇదమ్ ని జగత్ అంటారు. ప్రపంచమనీ అంటారు. జగత్ కు ప్రపంచానికీ స్వల్ప, సూక్ష్మ సాంకేతిక భేదముంది.

ముందు అద:, ఇదమ్, జగత్ ల గురించి పరామర్శించుకొని ప్రపంచ పదాన్ని, దాని నిర్వచనము, అవగాహనలను పరామర్శించుకుందాము.

శ్లో|| అస్తి భాతి ప్రియం నామం రూపమ్ ఇతి అంశ పంచకమ్|
ఆద్యత్రయం బ్రహ్మరూపం తతో ద్వయమ్ జగత్ రూపమ్||

ప్రపంచం అస్తి, భాతి, ప్రియము, నామము, రూపము అనే ఐదు అంశములతో ఏర్పడింది. మొదటి మూడు బ్రహ్మ రూపము, చివరి రెండూ జగత్ రూపము.

జాయతే, గచ్ఛతే ఇతి జగత్ అని ఒక నిర్వచనము. పుట్టి, విరమింపబడేది, లేకుండా పోయేది జగత్ అని దీని అర్థము.

ఈ వ్యాఖానము భగవత్ పరముగా మాత్రమే చేయబడదు.

ముఖ్యముగా జ్ఞానబోధ మీమాంసా దృష్టితో చేయబడతుంది.
